Off.Road.Only Hood Hop-Stopper

Tired of that brutally annoying "Hood Hop" that happens when passing over-sized oncoming vehicles? Affix the Off Road Only Hood Hop-Stopper, and eliminate the "Hood Hop Hassle". The Hop-Stopper works fine with all stock and aftermarket Jeep Wrangler hoods. The Hop-Stopper joins with the stock hood hook to keep the hood in place at the grill's center. In the closed position, hood retention reaches a full 100%.

Mount the Hot-Stopper directly below the steel grill shell. Doing so requires drilling two 1/4" holes at either side of the hood opening, and right through the lower layer of tubing. Getting the holes into the right position is made stress free thanks to an accompanying template fixture.

What's the total time required to stall the Hot-Stopper? Everything can be done in 30 minutes or less.

Operating the latch requires access through the grille's middle slot when the hood is totally closed. If you are using styled inserts, you may have to create an access hole.

The Hot-Stopper is not going to easily wear down since it is constructed with powerful corrosive-reistant stainless and hardware coated in zinc.
