Upgrade your stock steering system with the TeraFlex TJ: High Steer HD Aluminum Tie Rod Kit. The High Steer HD Aluminum Drag Link (NOT INCLUDED) and Tie Rod can be used to convert the TJ–s stock steering to a cross steering or a flipped steering setup. Flipping" the High Steer HD Aluminum Drag Link over the Knuckle helps eliminate front-end shimmy bump steer and other alignment issues.
Requires the TeraFlex TJ: Dana 30/44 High Steer Knuckle (# 4828490 ) and TJ: High Steer HD Aluminum Drag Link Kit (# 4920244 ).
Constructed from 1.5" hexagonal 6061-T6 aluminum – higher specific strength than 1018 steel
Yield strength of 45,000 lbs., yet 1/3 the weight of steel
Aluminum construction deflects 3x further than steel allowing for return to its original shape
Hexagon shape allows tightening of jam nuts w/ 1.5" wrench
Offset tie rod ends increase differential cover clearance at full turn
